  Designed and built by her current owner, See The Elephant was created with sustainability, practicality, and cost-effective living in mind — a truly innovative home afloat that combines thoughtful design with everyday comfort.

🏠 Accommodation and Layout

  Entering through French doors, you’re welcomed into a bright and spacious lounge, tastefully decorated and filled with natural light. The multi-fuel burning stove is the cosy focal point of the room, providing ample warmth throughout colder months.

  Alongside the lounge is the second bedroom, a versatile space ideal as a guest room, office, or hobby room, comfortably fitting a double bed if required.

  The galley-style kitchen is both practical and stylish, offering excellent workspace and storage, complete with a brand-new fridge and gas oven and hob.

  A well-designed shower room includes a hand basin, toilet, and shower cubicle, while the main double bedroom offers plenty of light and a peaceful retreat.

  Heating and hot water are provided by a gas water heater and the multi-fuel stove, with the boat’s excellent insulation eliminating the need for central heating.

  Externally, See The Elephant is finished in low-maintenance cladding, ensuring a long lifespan and minimal upkeep. A small entrance deck provides outdoor space for seating, and there’s potential to create a roof terrace for additional al fresco living.
