Premier Houseboats are delighted to present Fireflair, a beautifully decorated and well-maintained static houseboat, offering character, charm, and economical living.

  Originally commissioned by the War Office and later serving as a fire boat on the Thames, Fireflair has since been thoughtfully converted into a spacious and homely floating residence that blends traditional craftsmanship with modern comfort.

🏡 Accommodation

  The upper accommodation is divided into two inviting sections. The main lounge is warm and welcoming, with classic wooden panelled walls creating a traditional maritime feel. Large windows flood the room with natural light, while a dedicated office area—which can be separated from the main saloon—offers an ideal workspace.

   Glass doors open into a bright, fitted kitchen and dining area, featuring ample worktop and storage space, a fridge, freezer, oven, and a log burner for added warmth and ambience. There’s plenty of room for a dining table, and generous windows enhance the airy, open feel.

   A panelled staircase leads to the lower deck, where you’ll find two beautifully finished double bedrooms, each with wooden panelling, built-in storage, and authentic opening portholes that provide light, ventilation, and a reminder of the vessel’s working heritage.

   The family bathroom is cleverly designed in a U-shape, featuring a central bath, toilet, and hand basin. From here, a doorway leads into a utility room, which houses the washer and dryer and could easily be converted into a third bedroom if desired.
